It’s a built-in MCP server that lets AI assistants work with your real calendar — checking availability, creating and rescheduling bookings, managing event types, and pulling reports — using a standard WordPress application password to sign in. It’s off by default.

The assistant signs in as a real WordPress user and can only do what that user’s permission level already allows. Destructive actions like cancelling or moving a booking require a preview and a confirmation before anything actually changes, and a stale or altered preview is rejected.

There are fourteen tools in total. Some read — your bookings, open slots, event types, availability, and reports. Others write — creating, rescheduling, and managing bookings, and editing event types and availability. Payment lookups (pro) are also available.

WordPress 6.9 or newer, an MCP adapter (FluentBooking will offer to install Fluent Toolkit for you if it’s missing), and an MCP client to connect. The MCP setup guide walks through enabling it, choosing toolsets, and connecting your first client.

Whatever a connected assistant reads leaves your site, which makes the AI provider behind it a recipient of that data. The settings screen discloses this plainly, and FluentBooking adds suggested wording for your WordPress privacy policy.

FluentBooking works with any MCP client using a standard WordPress application password — there’s no proprietary integration to build or maintain.

Delete the application password it signs in with. Access ends immediately, with no separate disconnect step required.
