October 18th marks a truly special occasion for WordPress users—and us at WPManageNinja—because exactly one year ago, we set out to transform how appointments are managed within WordPress.
That’s right! Today, we’re celebrating the first anniversary of FluentBooking—the plugin that has revolutionized appointment scheduling for thousands of businesses across the globe.
From the moment we launched, FluentBooking has been more than just a tool; it’s become a trusted partner, simplifying the day-to-day tasks of busy professionals everywhere.
As we raise our mugs (yes, coffee included!) to this milestone, I’m excited to take you through our incredible journey—filled with growth, innovation, and, most importantly, your amazing support.

How it All Started?
Since we’re celebrating FluentBooking’s first-year journey today, I want to share how we built the Fluent ecosystem for WordPress users.
Our journey began in 2017 with a simple goal: to help small businesses grow.
- Ninja Tables: We began our journey with Ninja Tables, a plugin that helps users easily create tables on websites. The positive feedback inspired us to develop more useful tools for businesses. It currently has over 90,000+ active installations.
- Fluent Forms: In 2018, we launched Fluent Forms, a fast and user-friendly form builder. It has grown to power over 500,000+ websites, showing how much people love it.
- FluentCRM: In 2020, we created FluentCRM for email marketing. This tool now helps over 50,000+ businesses manage their email campaigns effectively.
- Fluent Support: We launched Fluent Support in 2021 to assist businesses with customer support needs. It currently serves more than 8,000+ businesses, providing valuable help.
- FluentSMTP: Also in 2021, we introduced FluentSMTP, a dedicated plugin for WordPress to improve email deliverability. It has over 300,000+ active installations and is completely free for everyone.
- WP Social Ninja: We launched WP Social Ninja in 2021. It’s an all-in-one social media plugin with over 20,000+ active installations.
- Paymattic: In 2022, we developed Paymattic, a great lightweight WordPress plugin for easy payments and donations.
- FluentBooking: In October 2023, we launched FluentBooking, our appointment booking plugin designed to make appointment management easier for businesses.
- FluentBoards: In June 2024, we released FluentBoards, a powerful project management plugin that is easy to use and fully integrated with WordPress.
- FluentSnippets: We also developed FluentSnippets, a high-performance plugin for adding code snippets. It’s completely free to use, making it accessible for everyone.
And today, we are proud to have over 950K+ active installations. Reaching this milestone from zero wouldn’t have been possible without your love and support.
But wait, it’s not over! We’re excited to announce another member joining our Fluent product lineup: FluentCommunity! Yes, you read that right.
It’s designed for fast and efficient online connections, collaboration, and idea sharing—without compromising website performance like other community plugins.
Currently, it’s in the beta phase, and you can easily join our beta program.
That’s the story of the Fluent ecosystem. Now, let’s move on to the next part.

The launch of FluentBooking was a remarkable moment for our team. Our developers worked tirelessly to ensure everything was perfect for the big day.
I still remember the excitement and the sweat as everyone pushed through until the last minute to bring something truly special to you and the WordPress community. When the moment finally arrived, we celebrated like you did—full of joy and excitement!
The response from the community was overwhelmingly positive, and we were thrilled to see so much love for FluentBooking.
30+ Product Updates
We believe our job doesn’t end with just launching a product. As a team of problem solvers, we always put our users first, constantly turning your ideas and feedback into real solutions.
When I think about the development team, I can’t help but admire their dedication from day one. They’ve worked incredibly hard to deliver important updates whenever needed.

Free Version Launch
The launch of FluentBooking’s free version was a significant moment for us. On 16th July 2024, we introduced FluentBooking Free on WordPress, and within just 10 weeks, we surpassed 3,000+ active installations!
This remarkable achievement wouldn’t have been possible without your trust in FluentBooking. Your continued love and support motivate us to push forward, and we’re confident that FluentBooking will continue reaching even greater milestones as we grow together.
Team FluentBooking at WordCamps
We believe our responsibility doesn’t end with just turning your ideas into reality. We also have a duty to give back to the WordPress community. That’s why our Ninjas have taken the time to share knowledge, network, and contribute to the platform’s growth at WordCamps.
In June 2024, we participated in WordCamp Europe 2024. It was an amazing adventure, meeting inspiring people, sharing ideas, and enjoying the beauty of Europe while fully engaging in the WordCamp experience.
In March 2024, we roamed WordCamp Asia, where we met many enthusiastic individuals, connected with industry leaders, and had the opportunity to share our knowledge and experience with others.
On May 10-11, we organized and participated in WordCamp Sylhet, where we joined forces with companies like GoDaddy, Bluehost, Jetpack, and many more, alongside the local WordPress community. It was an incredibly successful gathering, filled with learning, connections, and a shared passion for WordPress.

Google Calendar Integration
If you’re offering appointment-based services, you already know how essential Google Calendar is for managing your schedule. That’s why we’ve integrated FluentBooking with Google Calendar in a way that makes it incredibly easy for you and your team.
With just one click, you can link FluentBooking to Google Calendar. This connection works both ways, so your FluentBooking events and Google Calendar stay in sync. This helps you avoid any scheduling issues or double bookings.
Stripe & PayPal Payment
Secure payments are essential for both organizers and attendees. Whether you’re running a business or booking a service, a safe and smooth payment process builds trust and convenience.
At FluentBooking, we understand this need, which is why we’ve integrated Stripe and PayPal to provide a seamless, hassle-free payment experience for your clients.
Now, whenever they book an appointment, they can enjoy a quick, secure, and easy payment process.
Round Robin Meeting
While FluentBooking initially offered one-on-one and group meetings, we knew that for teams, managing workloads fairly is crucial. That’s why we introduced the Round Robin Meeting feature in FluentBooking 1.2.5.
With this feature, you can ensure that appointments are distributed evenly across your team members, so no one is overloaded, and your clients don’t have to wait for a specific team member to become available. It’s a win-win—happy team, happy clients!
One-off Event
In FluentBooking 1.5.0, we introduced the One-off Event feature, offering two options: Single Event and Group Event.
This feature allows you to easily host one-time events. The Single Event option is perfect for high-priority meetings, while the Group Event option is ideal for handling reservations or ticketing systems.
We believe the One-off Event feature will be really helpful for setting up meetings or events that happen just once, making everything simple and easy for you and your attendees.
Frontend Panel
In FluentBooking 1.5.0, we introduced the highly requested Frontend Panel feature. With this, you can manage all your FluentBooking appointments without needing backend access.
You can enable the Frontend Panel in two ways:
- Display it on a standalone frontend URL
- Use a pre-defined page via shortcode
No matter which option you choose, FluentBooking will be fully accessible from the frontend, making appointment management easier than ever!
